Don has logged extensive experience in the classroom as well as given countles private lessons. His performance and concert schedule has taken him to many countries and venues performing with diverse groups ranging from orchestra to wind ensemble, chamber groups and jazz bands. This past December, Don completed a tour of Brasil working with students from universities, conservatories and ensembles.

His ability to work comfortably with different levels means he is very adaptable in how he approaches each group he works with. Whether it be elementary, middle, high school to students studying at a major university or conservatory, even adult groups.  Don’s experience combined with his love of performing and teaching is sure to inspire and motivate students of all levels.

Don will custom design a clinic or workshop that covers the topics you and your students desire most. Trombone students participate in every workshop as a group and can also prepare something to perform and work on in front of their peers. Don encourages as many students to observe the sessions no matter what instrument. The end result is a fresh, new perspective of music and performing.
